Pluckd Studio was started by two best friends, Roslyn Huang and David Gale. Coming from different backgrounds, their shared love of music brought them together around one goal: build a music community that appreciates, understands, challenges, and embraces every child as they are.
The result is Pluckd Studio — a place built around the unlimited potential of every student. We promote creative learning and critical thinking through a genuine love of music, helping students master their instrument while building skills they’ll carry through life.

Pluck It, Just Play
Since founding Pluckd Studio in 2017, over 500 students have enrolled, trained, and achieved remarkable success with us. Our students improve their NYSSMA and ABRSM scores by 2 to 5 points every year, with 77% earning the highest NYSSMA marks. Our guidance has helped students gain admission to prestigious precollege programs at institutions like the Manhattan School of Music. Most importantly, our alumni maintain lasting relationships with us — a reflection of the impact of a Pluckd education.
